About The Artwork
Symbiosis - as a powerful fusion of the divine feminine with the plant kingdom. The felling of trees and the many forest fires affect me deeply. We keep building, ever higher. We need oxygen, and the trees need CO2. We give that to each other. Not a difficult calculation, if there are too many CO2 emissions, then we have to plant many more trees. Without oxygen, life for us humans on planet earth is not possible. I wanted to show that nature has a hard time purifying our polluted air. We need trees. They carry us, and all life. We need to do much more than we have now to save the planet. Women are an important link between people and nature. I haven't really found a good name for it yet. Do you have an idea? I painted it with oil paint and prepared the linen canvas myself. I hope my painting touches you.
