I was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1969. (current place of residence). I was raised in a middle class family in which my father worked in his company and my mother painted and took care of my upbringing and that of my brothers. I started painting from a very young age. I remember that in my spare time I would sit and paint as part of a game, an entertainment that gratified and entertained me. I spent long hours enjoying painting and drawing. When I finished high school, I hesitated at the time of my formal studies at the National School of Fine Arts for having warm family support. I remember a funny anecdote: Before starting the training at the School of Fine Arts, I spent a year studying the graphic design career just to follow the advice of my father, who told me that I was not going to make money with art. When I presented my technical works, I remember that a teacher told me: - "Dear, you approved the material but your drawings are rather artistic and do not respond to this career" -. The next day I was enrolling in the National School of Fine Arts following my convictions and my wishes After completing the training as a National painter of the School of Fine Arts, I continued to study with numerous and prestigious art teachers in Argentina. -The art for me is a daily action, like breathing. The artistic practice has become a vital fact for me, it is a craft that is learned from a certain rigor and then becomes a daily need. Even if one does not paint all day, the creative process continues in the doing. I would say that I live for art, but when a work of mine is sold, it broadens my perspectives of creation. -In my case, I do not consciously have a source of inspiration. The very practice on the pictorial surface is what determines its genesis and its conclusion. The work transcends you, you do it, but with the awareness that it is done independently of us. The times of a work are the times of itself beyond our needs and our willful gestures. I have an affinity with certain practices of abstract expressionism, but I discover that the results in this way are different. I do not want the work to "close" under the mandates of a particular aesthetic painting or a revealing title. With regard to habits when creating, -My habit would be my willingness to solve the riddle that the work demands of me and to have all the time and patience for that work to be manifested.
