THE 9-5 CONUNDRUM. Acrylic and Oil on Canvas Painting

I'm a contemporary, mixed-media, fine artist who practices abstract expressionism and surrealist automatism. I am here to share my love for art and the craft of painting. I enjoy the creative freedom and uncoventionalism that abstract painting gives me. There are no boundaries, rules or guidelines. Imagination, soul, spirit, subconsciousness, consciousness and the physical, all play a major role in contructing something tangible and one of a kind. Every notion and feeling I possess during that time of painting is expressed fluidly through emotive, bold and edgy colors, shapes and designs. I try to fabricate a lot of texture and depth by using a variety of applicators with dissimilar textural surfaces and by orchestrating multiple layers of an assortment of vibrant, subtle, earthy and metallic acrylic and oil paints. Besides my love for making art, I can only hope that my artwork moves the viewer in one way or another, making this reality of ours just a bit more interesting and enjoyable!
