ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Creating a village landscape is one of the most meditative processes for me. This subject is quite close to me because every time I look at such pictures, I experience these emotions I had in my childhood when I visited my grandmother almost feeling the breath of wind. I believe everyone feels something pretty similar taking a look at such landscapes. This lovely village is located in Varna, Bulgaria pretty far from the tourist attractions, quiet and small place on the top of the field. This artwork was painted with acrylic on the canvas board and finished with a protecting layer of varnish to keep colors safe from any damage. Signed and titled on the front and the back.

I was born in Moscow and spent my whole life here. I was raised learning about Russian Arts from my grandfather and then, when I was 8 y.o., I started my education in the State Tretyakov Gallery where I spent 8 years studying the history of arts and practicing in painting and drawing. It was an incredible time when I fell in love with the arts and decided that I would become an artist in the future. After that, I had individual lessons with extremely talented Russian old school artists for a couple of years to gain my skill and to be better in creating impressionistic landscapes. I had a classic art education as a professional restorer in the Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry to become who I am right now. Nowadays, I teach art to people of different ages. I get inspired for my arts by nature and architecture; I want to share my emotions and feelings about these places and their unique atmosphere with other people.
