Painting: Oil, Acrylic on Canvas.
Man, in every age of his existence, understood as the perpetual motion of the soul, just like the motion of the waves of the sea.
In this canvas, blue and red dominate in all their possible shades: the blue of the sea, the red of the human. The figure rises from the depths as if forged by the sea itself. And in rising, as if it were just born (or reborn), it immediately adapts to the movement of the waters, until it is transported, until it is possible to reach a consciousness of oneself and of what one wants to be in life.
The pictorial matter is dominant almost everywhere in the canvas to visually extend the motion man-waves, the real relationship between land and sea. And to extend the idea of movement, I have tried to represent all this in a "futurist" mood, with the speed of all the elements cyclic in the attempt, in this tourbillon, to put the observer at the center of the painting.
