Painting: Oil on Canvas.
I'm a runner, and I've noticed that there are parallels between running and life in general. I enjoy running, but it's definitely a challenge, and some days I run better than others. In the early stage of your run, you've got plenty of energy, so it's easy to enjoy the experience. But the longer you run, you begin to get depleted, especially in the summer heat here in Florida. You're getting tired and you begin to doubt whether you can make your distance. You don't want to break your stride or take breaks. As I was running one day, at just this point in the run, I felt a tail wind, a gentle push from behind. I realized that everyone needs a tail wind now and then in life, and this painting is meant as a visual reminder of that little lift, that little help that we all need from time to time. My tail wind comes from Jesus, and I hope you find the lift you need in your own way.
