Taking a rest is part of my Chairs and sofas Series. It's one of the "Painting a day" paintings that I am recently try to do. Palette knives give me speed and freedom to play with light and shadows and this small painting was born in one day. I usualy work on several different paintings in the same time, and this one came in the midle of some other difficult paintings as refreshment..... THE STUNNING, UNIQUE EFFECTS AND WONDERFUL TEXTURE CANNOT BE ADEQUATELY CAPTURED IN PHOTOS. The sides of the canvas are painted so your new painting is ready to hang!
