Lucie Jindrák Skřívánková was born in 1982 in Czech Republic. Lucie is one of the most distinct contemporary Czech painters of the youngest generation. She graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2009) in the studio of the most popular contemporary Czech painter Michael Rittstein whose influence can be seen on her characteristic impulsively energetic handwriting. Thematically, she focuses on architecture – she paints building interiors and exteriors which she breaks by the means of her specific approach to perspective.
