The picture was written in the early days of the war, which began recently. This is a difficult time for me, because I have no idea why such horror and nightmare can be created. I am Russian, but I have been living in Germany for 6 years, but this does not make it easier to go through all the difficulties. All my relatives live in Russia, and although there is no direct threat to their lives now, it is still very disturbing and sad that I may not be able to see them soon, because our lives are now changing dramatically and will never be the same. I cannot imagine what the people of Ukraine are experiencing, who are now in the field of hostilities or forced to flee and save themselves and their children. And this war will leave a mark on each of us. Therefore, the picture appeared as an omen of something heavy, disturbing and sad, but it also has sunlight on it, as a hope that there will again be peace and a calm sky above your head. Since February 24, 2022, my life has changed, I experience constant anxiety and excitement and drawing, this is the only thing that helps me cope with this and maintain peace of mind.
