Eduarda Ferreira was born in Porto in 1962. She paints since 1984 . The themes that have inspired her works are consequence of personal experiences and of some of the contradictory aspects of life: the exact and the uncertain, the permanent and the fleeting, the signs, the memory, the forgetfulness, the difficulties of communication, the effect more or less evident and sometimes unpredictable of unimportant things or events. She explores multiple techniques using oil pinting, acrylics, enamel, sometimes collages of recollected material. In painting she sees a inexhaustible field of possibilities.
