Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Ink and Paper on Other.

2014 Acrylic, pencil, charcoal, ink mixed media on mount board.

This is about a hard winter dominated by depression felt and shared by close friends. It's hard to remember anything but the bad stuff, to see anything that brought smiles. There are hints of naked brambles, veins of tree branches, stormy days. This is what I see in this piece. Something bleak.
