ARTIST ORA (Origin. Olivera VELKOVA), internationally renowned name in the Arts, was Macedonian born, on 27th of April 1977 in Skopje - the antique homeland of Alexander The Great and Justinianus Primus. VELKOVA comes from a cultural inspiring background: her grandfather, Ivan VELKOV, died in 2008, is the Doyen of Macedonian Modern Art and The Founder in the late "˜50/'60's of the 20th Century. He has been one amongst the top 500 artists in the World. After graduating in Architecture at University of Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia in 2001, she moves to Paris to enroll post-graduation studies in Medias, Visual Communication and Management at University ESDI Creapole, Paris. Immediately after the graduation 2002, she starts a professional carrier as a Consultant of Visual Communication in the domain of Fashion, Luxury goods and Events. Paris is also the place where her Artistic career begins. During all her Life, the entire period of living, working and creating in Paris, and then in New York, as well as the numerous travels and researches worldwide, she successfully expresses these experiences on the canvases, as well as through other forms of Arts such as Film and Music. Her first exhibition as an Artist officially marks the glorious beginning in Paris, FRANCE - Museum of Modern Art "Palais de Tokyo" 2004. Her great talent had been noticed since her early childhood; Olivera VELKOVA's first exhibition was at age of three, when she participated with her drawing "Solder of Peace" in the frame of the travelling collective exhibition visiting all the cities in Republic of Macedonia, back than part of SFRJ - Yugoslavia. After the Macedonia's great loss of her grandfather Ivan VELKOV in 2008, this is happening to be crowned with a First Solo Exhibition, exactly in her homeland Macedonia, under the title "The World As 1" from "Master Cycle The World As 1 V07". Her famous credo "Life is Art" she's promoting it constantly with her existence and presenting Macedonia worldwide as a true Ambassador, she is a Magistrate of Master of Art in Diplomacy and International Relations. After the great success of her First Solo Exhibition in Skopje, Macedonia back in 2008, she's been a guest in many TV shows on national and satellite TV and magazines and newspapers interviews.
