"The aim of life is self-development. To realize one's nature perfectly - that is what each of us is here for. People are afraid of themselves, nowadays." This famous quote, taken from "The Picture of Dorian Gray", was left behind by someone and found by me, while I was struggling to finish this picture. In an eerie coincidence the quote reflected exactly my state of mind at that point. So in went the quote, in its German language version.
