Captivated by the explosion of colors that adorn her canvases, Cathy Pantigny puts us eyeful. She has this gift of know-how of the juxtapositions of mixed colors to an ideal. This mix that makes you say WOW! Cathy Pantigny was born in the North of the France. Installed in Quebec since 2012, in Saint-Sauveur, she began on artistic creation in paint in 2013. Rich artistic experience which she has gained throughout the world, it finds in the painting a way to express themselves. The abstract style gives her a freedom of expressions and movements. This freedom she uses it fully. The colors of her palette is used to titillate our iris. She knows how to create a full of contrasts, shapes and color harmony. We cannot remain indifferent to this firework of colors. Citizen of the world, she has exhibited everywhere, in Montreal, in the Laurentians, and often in Europe. In her CV, you can see her participation in numerous exhibitions in Belgium, in Italy, in Bucharest, France, in the South, but also in Paris. Not to mention a solo exhibition at the New York Jadite Gallery in 2015. In April 2015, she received a gold medal at the exhibition of Abstract Art organized by the CAPSQ and in September she won the bronze medal, section abstract art during the expo competition in Bucharest. In November 2016, she received the first prize in abstract by the “cercle des artistes peintres et sculpteurs du Quebec” at the international gala of visual arts in Montreal Her pleasure in painting which was only a hobby has turned into almost daily need. Exploratory work to find a wellness, a happiness that she loves sharing with us through broad strokes of colors and emotions.
