ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The cacti series is a collection of three paintings inspired by cacti. I love to use green and blue tones in my paintings alongside plaster and clay to create a rough surface. I also love dark interiors with and abundance of plant life, so I was inspired by interiors while paintings this series. I painted 3 canvas in green and grey tones using acrylic and Pebeo liquid paints alongside over plaster. I used my usual technique of scraping these paints over the wall filler surface to expose the layers of paints as they were drying.
