About The Artwork
In the pursuit of magical realism, inspired by Peter Doig, this work shows a transition between the intangible world of imagination (left) and the real (right) world where light and colours are affected by laws of physics. The uniting element is the water which refers to our omnipresent consciousness transcending both dimensions, imaginary and real worlds. The fisherman is a guardian waiting to catch anything from dreams, ideas or thoughts that could emerge from consciousness and disturb my peaceful retreat home.
