Inner Crossings After winning the First Prize at the III International Biennial of Modern Graphic (Novosibirisk, Russian Federation, 2003), after his exhibition "Modern Society" (Quinta Galeria, Bogotá, 2004) and "Codices de Unreality" Individual within the "IV International Biennial of Modern Graphic", Novosibirisk Art Gallery, Novosibirisk, Russian Federation, 2005) the painter Alvaro Galindo Vacha presents us with this new series of 18 works. One more step in the evolution of its theme. Their language continues to be constructed and frame by frame is structured. New signs appear, and others are transformed. In this case his eloquent lyric develops in a more moderate, but more forceful. The color is emphasized as it is now present not only in the signs but also occupies the funds enriching the possibilities of composition and contrast. Each work tells a particular story, concentrating our attention on the way of a guided tour of one of his previous paintings. It is as if we penetrated deep in its previous labyrinths to detail them in each one of its filigrees. However this journey towards the Microcosm is actually a magical journey towards the Macrocosm where the Traveler Man connects with the Universal Dimension. The traces of this Path are marked in its Memory as Quantum Connections, Neuronal Synapses at the same time as they spread the Ancestral Tattoos on all our Skin. We find new Signs that remind us of Jasper Jones' "target", or the Silhouettes that remind us of Rufino Tamayo and add to the classic repertoire of "Kleean", "Kandiskian", "groszkian" and "miroic" elements in compositions where The Light and the Color are protagonists in the narration. Colorful backgrounds with subtle fillings and transparencies that generate an infinite number of tones, allowing to create, in a somewhat "kanitzian" way staircases and boxes superimposed, but not totally present, they serve as stage for esoteric figures in more luminous and enamelled colors, within which There is an almost alchemical transmutation that reminds us of the gates, the carved walls of ancient temples, and even more, the stained-glass windows of magical cathedrals, but this time built for contemporary men. That character who seems stolen from the novel by Ray Bradbury ("The Illustrated Man") with his body completely covered with "Tatuajes" that appears in the work "Globalized Man" (100 x 70 cms., Mixed Technique on Fabric) and who Connecting with a "Higher World" also covered with signs, which we see only partially, seems to evoke an ancient Maori joining the universe through his dreams or a contemporary man, in any internet cafe during his trip through the network. But note that this character shows us how not only is body but also spirit ... a dotted line is redrawn a few millimeters outside your body by outlining it. That face equally contoured by an aura punctuated in his work "Digitization of Being" (100 x 120 cms., Mixed Technique on Fabric) that resembles an Egyptian hieroglyph profile showing us a map of sensory connections that transcend the universe from his Back skull which bits whispering to join the galactic flow that traverses constellation after constellation after crossing the Sacred Pyramids. That stolen element of Tamayo, abstract, which appears in "The Tree of Delights" (100 x 120 cm, Mixed Technique on Fabric) to remind us of the presence of Bosco and biblical codes nourishing a trio of triangles that reminds us of Position of the Pyramids of Egypt, which by means of pipes connect to the trunk of the subconscious tree and end in the hands of the raft of Charon to begin their journey through the Acheron mythical be transformed into a river that leads to the kingdom of the dead. That "underground work" (79 x 70 cms., Mixed Technique on Cloth) that as a literally "buried" image of the previous table, and in which three "targets" cut out to resemble clocks or controls machinery dominates the step towards Hades For each of its "Pyramids". Similarly, symmetrical twins "Elements No 2" (37 x 84 cms., Mixed Technique on Fabric) and "Path of an Illusion" (idem.) Show us three triangles that recall the "pyramid" power over the universe during a day Of exhibition of beings-comet flying festive and magical, released to the wind of this terrenalidad. Timeless these universal beings, a self-portrait of our journey that leaves our marks on the skin as "maps" and "daily" of the Itinerary of our own Inner Crossing. Thus, box by frame, connected to the Universal Flow, they seem a premonition of the time to come ... Jaime Iván Gutiérrez Vallejo Art critic
