"The English Rose" Queen Elizabeth 2nd I have wanted to make a portrait of her magesty the queen for some time now, and being her 90th year what better time. The powefull iconic figure of Queen Elizabeth 2nd stands out of the background shadow in ordrr to highlight the tri-dimension aspect. The symbolical rose in the backgrounds reminds us that she is truly an English Rose. The painting is framed and signed. The measurements are 85cm x 85cm (33"x 33") including the frame. I also have a limited amount of prints which you can find in my other listings.

Born in Italy a country full of fine art I was happy to paint from a very young age. Therefore it was natural for me to further my education and learn all aspects of art. I first studied for 5 years at the college of art and design in Eboli ( Italy ) . I then studied for a further 4 years at the Academy of Fine Art in Naples ( Italy ) where I gained a Master Degree in Fine Arts. Having moved to England several years ago I have painted for many exhibitions and for commissions including artwork for my local council. Since i moved to England everyone started to call me Gino , perhaps they found it easier to call me that way. For that reason i adopted that name as my Artistic name.
