ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This painting is based on a visit to Ben Nevis, Scotland. I made it soo close to the top, we were completely unprepared for the climb. The inspiration for the work was captured half way down at the best stop to refill those water bottles !! believe or not it was boiling that day , so we had drank all of our water . love a fresh waterfall bottle stop . The rock and jagged boulders that were jutting out in and around the waterfall really captured my creative vibes. The rocks were beautiful, different colours and textures. loved watching all the jubilant climbers standing on the rocks to refill their water bottles , such a great achievement to have climbed Ben Nevis , its so beautiful up there .
