About The Artwork

In this monochromatic oil painting on cardboard I wanted to represent the fight between two different parts of oneself. The part on the left is the loser and the other wins and her strength can be seen in her hair that is like an architectural element that explodes. It belongs to a series of oli paintings on cardboard that I did without before drawing the subjects: they are rather instinctive, yet they are well painted and represented

All my paintings and drawings are figurative: I want to express hidden feelings and create a connection with those who look at them. One of the main themes is Solitude represented in all its shades. Another trademark of my works are eccentric hairstyles through which I aim at representing feelings and states of the mind.
