The Flower coup Painting

I paint in a very loose and fluid style. I work in an abstract way with a lots of deep rich vibrant colours, that are layered on the canvas. This one is made with oil paint which takes time to layer as I have to patiently wait for the first layers to dry, but the extra texture and deep rich colours make it worth the while. This is a distinctive style that sets my paintings apart from all the others. It's a unique defining design element that I also use to balance the composition of the painting. I have grown a fond love for plants and would love to see more green spaces in the urban centres and cities in general. I find flowers and plants are so full of life and create a new excitement where ever they grow. Sometimes they bloom, they float, they grow and smell great. The feeling of that wild side to life to me is textured, layered with depth and I love to capture the dreams of such growth before it disappears; hence the layers and take over of the green plants in this cityscape. Image walking down the street on a warm day and seeing an apparent building that had plants all over it, and yellow leaves and flowers were blushing around you as you snuck peeks on to the balconies around you to see what was going on around you. I was feeling like going on a such a walk so I painted the imagined vision. Hope you enjoy it.
