Would you judge an artist if our palette had no black and white?It's actually not such a bad exercise because it forces you to have the colors be more pure and vibrant. In this painting the white did have to come out as I did need it but I didn't need the black and I didn't use it. Some artist especially watercolorists do not consider black a color. In watercolor you use all three primaries to create black and white is created by leaving the white of the paper. I don't know if I should say that I've not a fan of acrylics but I'm not. But in the age of covid-19 we've lost our shared studio space. It presented a welcome challenge.
