It is good to have a special place where we can go when feeling down. Even if you can go there only in your thoughts and imagination. If you close your eyes, maybe put on some good and peaceful music, sit down and take time for yourself. Imagine a beautiful place where you would like to be. Or a place from your childhood or other good memories. From the time you felt happy. Imagine the smell, the sound, the warmth, the hapyy feeling - and you will feel better and more balanced. Your mind calms down and remembers the positive feeling. And you can feel it. I love the sea and the sunny summer days. It reminds me of some happy days in my childhood. So I often paint the seascape. I painted here my happy place. With joyful and warm vivid colors I adore. It is how I see the sea in my memories. Childishly fun and thrilling place where I could stay all day long. The can be janged on the wall like it is - without a frame. It is covered with laquer to protect it and bring the colors shine. I used quality canvas and laquer. It is one small happy painting!

As long as I can remember I have been drawing, painting or creating something. Art and creativity were always a part of my life and my paintings, drawings, jewelry, painted mugs, designed books, hats, pullovers and cutting boards can be found in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Vietnam, Russia, New Zeland, USA, Australia, Thailand, Latvia etc. Through life I have designed advertising posters, shop windows, book covers, woven pullovers and socks etc. I have also published a book about gemstones and written some articles for newspapers. Writing is another passion of mine. I am a freelancer. I paint and started my own design brand called UNLA Design. I design and hand crafts jewelry, funny hats and wooden cutting boards with funny quotes. My designs and paintings are inspired by everyday life. And nature. And dreams. And music. I do not have a certain style or theme because I do not like to put myself into frames. My paintings form if I start to paint. All my paintings and designs carry messages. I like to create things that make people happy. That make people smile. If we smile we can make the world a better place!
