This framed painting depicts the main avenue of trees at Benmore Botanic Gardens near Dunoon, Argyllshire, Scotland. I wanted to paint this scene as love the sheer height of the trees- and the general beauty of this place. I hope I have partly captured this. Was painted wet on dry- in stages.
