About The Artwork

Peter was originally an ordinary fisherman from Capernaum. Peter was one of Jesus' favorite disciples. When the high priest's guards went to arrest his teacher, he cut off the ear of one of the soldiers with a knife, and later, when he waited to find out what was happening to Jesus in the high priest's court, he denied Christ three times. Later he sincerely repented. The Apostle Peter preached the word of God in different countries. His work includes numerous miracles, such as healing the sick and infirm. Peter is highly revered by both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches. The Catholic Church celebrates the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul on June 29, and the same day is adopted by the Eastern Orthodox calendar.

The variety of materials such a acrylic paste, gold and silver metal foil, collage, acrylic and oil paint, enrich and enhance the image of canvas. The surface of the canvas is processed with spatula until the desired effect is achieved after which it is layered with more contrast and gentle colors , which depend on the theme of the painting. The compositions are mostly figurative, the details are realistic, but stylized and decorative. The diversity of topics is combined with rich colors , texture and variety of herbal and natural elements. These make the paintings interesting, close to the human spirituality and easy to assimilate. www.stefangeorgievart.com stefan.georgiev.3192@facebook.com https://www.facebook.com/stefangeorgievart/
