The Hill Painting

Awarded: "The Hill" 3rd Place at The Regional Center for Women In The Arts 2021 .html In September of 2016, I had a strong sense that we were heading towards a change that would greatly harm Human decency and intensify racism within the Republican party. The U.S. Democracy would also be dismantled thematically. This foresight was echoed by Dr. Fiona Hill, who at the time served as the U.S. Ambassador to the National Security Council, specializing in Russian and European affairs. Dr. Hill's testimony during the Impeachment Trial of 45 on November 21, 2019 was incredibly accurate. It saddens me greatly that my fellow Americans did not listen and take appropriate action.
