Dorothy Preston was a painter whose work was always a visual treat and has been represented in public and private collections throughout the world, including the Corcoran Gallery, the Milwaukee Museum of Art, Women in the Arts, the Franz Bader Gallery, the Adams Davidson Gallery, among others. This work, entitled "The Jaguar Wears Mary Janes" was a foray into a brighter, more distinctive palette with a sureness of imagery. This work was actually featured in a Washington Post article about Dorothy Preston in 1979.
