A fascinating landscape surrounds the picturesque borgo with olive groves and wooded copses scattered around the hills, with the daily echo of the nearby hermitage's bells.

Studied a degree in glass design at Stourbridge College of Art in the 1980s and for a number of years ran a stained glass studio in South Wales. After a period working in the rat race I decided that life would be more fun if I sold up, moved to Italy and started painting. So for the last six years I have been painting and writing in Umbria, in a village just north of Assisi. The surrounding countryside and renowned artists of the area have acted as a constant source of inspiration for my works.
