Born in Cagliari, Italy in 1965. Diana categorizes herself as a surrealistic-abstract and futuristic artist. Her influence come from primitive African art as well as pre-Columbian art and artifacts. Diana grew up around classic western art. She is the daughter of Francesco Marongiu, painter and sculptor, who influenced her since the early years. Diana begun painting "murals" and graffiti style designs on the kitchen walls of her parents house at age 10. Her work is filled with detailed elements, hidden messages and symbolism.
