This work explores idea of familiar spaces, rooms and corners, shadows cast against a wall. How these are so close to us yet so far away, something we hide in and yet something that cages. The overlaid white rip, a tear through the flat surface, into or away from something. Creating depth within this 2D space. Its graphic, perfected depiction drawing you in but also pushing you away, calming but also capturing an idea of unease. (Work does no come with hanging hardware.)
