About The Artwork

It's actually a situation of a crisis of identity, where individuals uncertain about who or what they are, seek to abstract a persona from extraneous and extrinsic factors within their field of social observance. It depicts an hybridisation of cultural nuances to formulate an appearance of self definition based on factors that portray us in the most societally acceptable light. Unfortunately we lose originality and uniqueness, the further we allow norms to define the vector of our personality trajectory. The bumble bee doesn't seem like much until you discover the uniqueness of an ability they possess, that make them be described as a miracle of nature. Based on scientifically established criteria for flight, a bumble bee is not suppose to fly because of their disproportionately large bodies as compared to the wings, however nature bestows it with an ability only unique to it to be able to harness the invisible magnetic field around the earth to simply glide along the field as it floats from petals to petals. That single intrinsic quality alone makes a bumblebee truly special.

Born 18th March 1971 in Benin city, Nigeria. I m married with 2 great kids and another one is on the way, hopefuly the last. Art is my calling in life and its what i do best. Ever since i was aware of myself,i always loved anything artistic and and i indulged myself in them, even though i really wasn't hoping to become a professional artist. Anyway, after a long sojourn in the science world,i finally became a professional artist and i m enjoying every moment of it.i try to embbed deep messages in my works in terms of metaphors and innuendosI ve actually realized that my pool of inspiration cannot be defined with a boundary, because i am constantly changing my perspective and i try to find the most suitable way to express my artistic opinion. And since i m primarily an experimental artist, i really can't say my restless spirit will be comfortable with working in a certain technique for very long. However, the most important thing about my work is that i believe God has a divine presence in it.
