About The Artwork
This beautiful large size textural picture was painted in 2023. On the surface of the canvas, orange, green and bronze color plays, intertwining with charcoal drawing and other layers. The traditional Easter holiday in Andalusia surprises and gives the audience the beauty of the production, people and is deeply imprinted in memory. DETAILS: Size: 51 x 35 inches (130 x 90 cm) Materials: I use only the best quality professional acrylic colors. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust. The picture is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity. NOTE: ✔ Framing is not required. ✔ Please note that colors you see on your screen may differ slightly from the actual ones on the canvas. DELIVERY: This painting will be delivered from Spain, from my studio in Malaga. The painting will be sent with a tracking number. I guarantee excellent packaging and safety of all my paintings during their transportation to any country. ✔ This painting will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube. Rolling artwork can be easily placed on wooden frame by a local developer upon arrival. This method is especially safe for this artwork, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Victoria Dael, (birth name — Victoria Belyakova, born in 1982, Moscow, USSR. Lives and works in Malaga, Spain. Two views are merged together in Victoria`s creative work: the view of an artist and the view of a cinematographer. Classical epochs and styles interpreted by the artist based on contemporaneity are involved into their orbit. A dramatic confrontation comes to the fore between culture and barbarism, erosion of cultural space experienced by our world. Victoria studies history creating profound and composite images. She uses her own artist technique, characterized by the combination of different factures, elements of drawing and collage. The artist perceives the world as a palimpsest in which every epoch preserves its “cultural layer”. Like camera focus Victoria`s artistic method aggregates not only several plans into perfect composition, but also turns ancient images, landscapes, remains of the Golden Age into a metaphor. Victoria works with “cultural memory”, inviting us to make a long way to comprehend great heritage of Art.
