ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This iconic pier is in Port Phillip Bay Victoria. I like the different colours in the water. This was painted in (oil the other beach scenes were painted in acrylic) as it was easier blending the back ground paint. I started looking at how people like Margaret Ollie and Edward Manet moved oil paint around in their paintings. The sky reminds me of he warehouse scene in the Woody Alan movie Broadway Danny Rose.
