ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting in pastel is closely inspired by Giorgio De Chirico’s 1914 work The Song of Love which hangs in MOMA. The size is slightly smaller than the original. So are the materials. Not to say the quality of the draughtmanship. But my intention was not to produce a copy but to express my affection and admiration for the great master.
