Last couples of weeks I was thinking of painting a sunny bright artwork with bold brushstrokes. Moscow weather finally allowed us to feel warmth and softness of this summer. The perfect time for an impressionistic painting: it is easy to present the light, reflections and shadows on an artwork.

All sides are painted, ready to hang.

Galina is a Moscow, Russia based artist. Galina prefers to work with oil in impressionistic manner. Her works are inspired by the beautiful and varied nature of places she's visiting around the world. She develops her painting style on ongoing basis, she loves to create oil artworks mixing several styles and techniques. Galina has been painting through all her life since childhood. When child, Galina grew in South Kazakhstan and became deeply inspired by wildlife mountains of Alatau and mild colours of the endless steppe. She's got the basics of the art education in the art school in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Drastic changes of 90's in the ex-soviet region pushed Galina's professional career into different direction from art - to economics & finance. Painting nevertheless was her first love and she came back to it in her 30s. In 2016 Galina joined The Contemporary Art Studio of Vyacheslav Shmagin in Dubna, Russia for next two years. Since then she creates artworks on regular basis and participates in the exhibitions within Russia. Galina’s use of colour combined with vibrant shapes creates a fancy composition of her artworks. Her works intended to evoke multiple cycles of warm thoughts and delighted associations. Galina's works are mainly influenced by the colours game of Paul Gauguin and the shapes complexity of Vassily Kandinsky. Galina's paintings are in the collections in Russia and Kazakhstan.
