ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My ex- and current amiga asked me to paint something for her. I had a selfie from her in her legal office attire that I chose from all the rest, possibly because it was less sultry (I really don't remember now), and thought, let's try this in a few different styles. The one is realism and with a very narrow pallet. The other is this pop-art-ish style I've been feeling my way around, with the Colombian flag as the background, and the other much further outside my wheelhouse. Here on Saatchi I was looking for Colombian artists to inspire the third style and I found Jesùs Leguizamo. Check him out! So this is 3 separate canvases, each is 30x40.
