The Upper Shelf Painting

That evening, I was lying down next to my little girl, in the kid's room. Its a room with three beds for three gorgeous daughters I have, and a son. We were having a chat and a laugh, when I saw it and it hit me: the upper shelf! They're a bit older now. They're over their old toys, but don't want to give them away. They cherish them..up there..on the shelf. I painted the scene in aquarelle, on 300mg rough Arches paper. This fine paper has an elegant grainy texture that makes it stand out and shout: original, aquarelle. Below the shelf, I painted three paper sheets that the kids hung on the wall.
