About The Artwork
The Widow, completed 2016.6.13. Spontaneously hand drawn, then electronically colored. My first success in this style of work. I'll freely admit that I started doing this work while completing the excellent book "Conversations with Picasso", written by Brassai, but I didn't *necessarily* start this in response to it. This work really isn't Cubism, after all, but it is an abstraction I feel satisfied with now. This is my first experiment with Saatchi... thank you for looking.
