The Window. Moment 2 Painting

I was born in Madrid where I lived until 2014. That year I moved to London where I lived until the end of 2022. I am currently living in Glasgow. From all the painters that have inspired me I give a special emphasis to Artemisia Gentileschi, Gustav Courbet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, the Pre-Raphaelites, Emile Nolde, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Edvard Munch, Gabriele Münter, Edward Hopper, Alice Neel, Marlene Dumas among many others. I work over sketches and photographs. I think that to be courageous and honest are the most important things in Art. I want to wake up certain kind of non-conformism, transmitting the incorruptible and unarmed rebelliousness of the dissident artist. Nací en Madrid donde viví hasta 2014. Ese año me mudé a Londres donde viví hasta finales de 2022. Ahora vivo en Glasgow. De todos los pintores que me han inspirado hago especial hincapié en Artemisia Gentileschi, Gustav Courbet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, los prerrafaelitas, Emile Nolde, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Edvard Munch, Gabriele Münter, Edward Hopper, Alice Neel, Marlene Dumas entre muchos otros. Trabajo sobre bocetos y fotografías. Creo que ser valiente y honesto son las cosas más importantes en el arte. Quiero despertar cierto tipo de inconformismo, transmitiendo la rebeldía insobornable y desarmada del artista disidente.
