It was my wake up call.. Hi, i am Harleen, Welcome to my little Universe. I am an Italian self-taught artist, based in Italy and uk. I started in the last years to find my identity into the space art which I’m painting most of the time. I remember when everything started. Since when i was a little child i’ve been always so scared from the universe. When i grew up as a young woman i started to feel this fear so much that leaded me in my early adult life into a mental health problem. I was constantly having this dreams about the universe, the infinity of it, i was totally lost in it trying to find a way back home and the unknown and infinity around me were make me feel scared an full of fears. i Spent years fighting with the panic and pain that i was feeling all the time i was thinking about life, universe, where we are, where are we going… Constantly trying to disconnect myself from the world around me, the universe around us. When finally at some point.. Everything changed. I started to paint my biggest fears.. The infinity, the space, the universe.. And more i was doing it more i was healing. The creation process of painting the universe, discover it, accept it, was kind of exorcise all my fears. Since then i couldn’t stop look up the sky.. I accepted that even if it is big and scary does not means that it can't be beautiful. I accepted that i don't need answers from it, i just need to feel connected with it. I understood that there are things beyond our understanding. And it is ok. All my painting are a deep journey into my dreams and soul. My medium is the Oil paint. Sometimes i like to dive and experiment in the world of different mediums and subjects but space and universe will always be my biggest inspiration. You can find here a windows thought my journey.
