I’m an abstract painter, whose paintings can all be characterized in terms of narration and balance. When an interesting narrative, transmitted by the combination of colour, texture, and form has a balanced spatial disposition on the canvas, it starts to shift across multiple layers of beholder's personal experience. For me, colour, texture, and form are a representation of thought paradigms and patterns and thus emotions that represent the fibre of our experience. A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Rijeka, Croatia, in the 1980s, my education and occupation have been in philosophy, linguistics, and music. I have obtained a Master’s degree in Philosophy and History, and a PhD in the field of Philology. Since the late 1990's up until the year 2013 I worked as a songwriter and bass player in a punk - rock band. I have a long working experience as a professor and archivist, while my attention nowadays is almost completely dedicated towards creating abstract art.
