The right eye Painting

Frank Stella’s “What you see is what you see.” inspired me making this series of the eyes. That way of thinking is really connected to the way of Zen for me. Zen is about finding yourself as well as finding truth - not worshipping others, but believing in yourself, knowing “who you really are,” being yourself, living in your own way. In order to get there, I think we have to remember in the first “What you see is what you see.” I feel that’s the start point to living like Zen. That’s why I made this series of the art.
