Im glad to meet you at this gallery and I hope you will like my works. Originally I have been mathematician and my scientific studies at Kharkiv National University were quite successful. But what has been always important for me that is my personal life running simultaneously to these activities. I always liked to draw, to knit and to sew. I have been working in different textile techniques for all my life and I believe I have achieved a good enough level at many of them, but I became interested in art-quilting only several years ago. I made my first patchwork blanket in my youth by intuition. Actually, I even didn't know the term "patchwork". In Ukraine art-quilting isn't as popular as in foreign countries where it becomes nowadays a particular kind of fine art. Its uncommonness and newness attracts me as well as its rich creative potential and permanent quest for inspiration. So each work is particular and unique.
