Hyeok Eon Kweon Korean Painter Born in 2001, Lives and works in South Korea. Hyeok Eon Kweon is a Korean artist whose works primarily feature hummingbirds as a central motif. He began painting hummingbirds during a period of severe lethargy and anxiety, using art as a way to overcome his inner struggles. For Kweon, the hummingbird is a guiding presence, leading him forward on his artistic and personal journey. His works reflect resilience, hope, and the search for light amidst darkness. Recently, Kweon held a solo exhibition at KV Gallery in Busan Citizens Park. He also participated in the 4th “100 Artists 100 Works” exhibition at Beeum Gallery in Insa-dong and Ajit Museum of Art. His artistic achievements have been recognized by the Daegu Fine Arts Association, where he was awarded a Special Selection in the Western Painting category at the 42nd Daegu Art Competition.
