There Will Be Peace after All is a painting about the complex and difficult way of the personality to the state when one becomes their Self. It has various references including the story of the prodigal son, the death of the hero in a far, unknown land and the state of being a child, meaning that one has been reborn. "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14) On the other hand it is a commentary on the vanity of everyday life, of all the struggles, difficulties and arguments that finally are solved by the end of one's life path.
