About The Artwork
These three ducks are white - yes, they are! I love the cool and warm reflections of pinks and blues that make you "FEEL" the white ducks without using a bit of pure white color. I think the time is early evening..the light is cool and the grass is a beautiful blue green. The painting is impressionistic in style yet there are drawing lines which give it an abstracted feeling. The paint is applied in layers to create a glow from within the figures. Acrylic paintings are very "tough", so this painting can be hung in direct sunlight or in a bath, sun porch or kitchen without worrying about damage. The painting is on canvas which has been attached to a treated panel .25" thick and is ready to frame.
