Chiel Kleipool
Netherlands
Chiel Kleipool (1954) is an artist born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Already at an early age Chiel knew he wanted to be an artist. He made his first oil paintings when he was 14 years old. After high school Chiel studied at several art schools: the Royal Academy of Art The Hague, Amsterdam University of the Arts, Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten Amsterdam and Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. He has an art teacher degree and is specialized in teaching figure drawing classes. At the moment Chiel is focussing on his personal art projects. He spends a lot of time in his studio, based in Zutphen. Currently he’s working on paintings and sculptures. Creating has always been one of the most important activities in Chiel’s life.
