Marina Gorbachova is a Ukrainian contemporary artist based in Canelli, Italy. Her practice centers on deep black abstract paintings in the Outrenoir tradition, drawing influence from Pierre Soulages. In parallel, she creates dynamic figurative illustrations that offer a vivid counterbalance to her minimalist works. Combining acrylic and mixed media, Gorbachova explores the emotional and spatial depth of darkness, using texture, contrast, and restraint to evoke meditative intensity.
