About The Artwork

To Love Fiercely And Fearlessly - Peony Roses - Artist Acrylic on Acid free pine frame canvas, Sealed with clear spray varnish. Signed and ready to hang. Comes with certificate of authenticity. 91.4 x 60.9 x 1.5 cm 13/06/2019 Ready to hang Side panel painted: Black By HSIN LIN Affirmation: Stand still, the best is yet to come. The peony is often associated with romance and prosperity. It also symbolizes good fortune and happy marriages because the blossoms of the peony flower is round which symbolizes fortune. There's also a saying that when the peony bushes in the garden are full of flowers or bloom during spring then the family will have a good fortune ahead. I was lucky enough to came across these beautiful peonies in Croydon, Victoria , with a beautiful shade of blue reflected by sunlight on those white , peach and pink colour petals, and a hint of magenta on the flower buds, it was captivating . I completed this painting in a quiet afternoon under the winter sun in my studio. Here I present you my favorite flower, bloom gloriously in grace, in every day, every season. -WILD BOTANICAL ABSTRACT SERIES 2019 by H.Lin- Artwork inspired by nature in Croydon, Melbourne,Victoria, 2019. -HSIN LIN Enjoy the making of this artwork welcome to visit the link below : https://youtu.be/2iti1aV-81E -1st - 28th September - Bloom Like Flowers Solo Exhibition by HSIN LIN, Knox Immerse 2019 by Knox city council , Upper Ferntree Gully , Melbourne

HSIN LIN, Award-winning Artist based in Melbourne, Australia. In Hsin Lin’s ongoing, signature contemporary floral series that feature native and common flowers we know, flowers represent life and each different type of flower has a unique symbolic meaning. Lin is inspired by her close observation of the natural world. Through a process of careful looking Lin is able to capture an incredible amount of intricate detail. To create the larger-scale work, Lin normally spends 6-12 months developing the intricate composition. The fine details such as the tiny petals have been developed through ten or more layers of paint. Lin describes that ‘although still-life is considered a traditional genre, each object in the paintings stands for a different meaning and has its own story. Flowers represent us as humans, vases represent the body carrying our soul, protecting us like a shield. The weaving basket stands for connections—the bonds between families, friends and all the people around us. Even if you are apart, everyone is still being linked together as a whole and we are stronger together.’ Lin’s paintings, a series of flowers in full bloom, remind us that we are alive and that life is vibrant, blossoming and full of potential.
