Tolerance hammers Painting

Hammers are randomly located on a smooth black background - common, recognizable, undeniable objects. However, these hammers are so unexpected in color (puppet blue and pink heads on white handles) that they look more like lollipops. Such an orientation toward a new imagery borrowed from popular culture is called pop art. Pop art was a reaction of denial to abstract expressionism, and as the main subject and image, pop art used images of consumer goods. A familiar symbol is placed in an unusual space unusual for it, or depicted in an unusual angle, or is made of strange materials. The perception of a familiar image in non-standard conditions creates a strong dissonance, makes it possible to look at things from a different angle.
